Crown Royal

(Königliche Krone)

Der Crown Royal ist eine unglaublich erfolgreiche Whiskymarke von Seagram.
Bereits 1939 wurde er anlässlich des Staatsbesuches des englischen Königs Georg VI. und Königin Elisabeth in Kanada, von Sam Bronfman (Direktor von Seagram) kreiert.
Bis 1992 erfolgte die Produktion in Waterloo/ Ontario. Heute wird er neben vielen anderen Seagram-Marken in dem Destilleriekomplex Gimli hergestellt. Im Moment ist der Großkonzern Eigentümer der Crown Royal Marke.
